FAQ

Q: Can you build any size box I need? Is that custom?
A: YES! We can build virtually any size of aluminum box you need. Within certain dimensions it’s a very simple adjustment to our current designs.

Q: What options are there for finish?
A: You can select smooth (flat finish) or checker plate (polished) for the box and/or door. Sometimes we do checker plate doors on smooth boxes and we also do Stainless Steel doors on smooth aluminum boxes.

Q: What about a different hinge location?
A: We offer all our box sizes with any door hinge orientation.

We typically stock size and door-hinge orientations that are most commonly ordered but you can easily specify a different hinge location and have us build it in a few days.

Q: I want a cam-lock bar latch for my double-door box, do you do that?
A: You bet, we call that style a Trailer Box, click the link above to see those on their own page.

Q: Which mount kit should I get?
A: Usually the Hanging-Style is used for Trailers to mount to the cross beams and the Angle Bracket kits are for frame-mounting.

If you’re mounting to a Trailer frame under the neck you’ll likely want to look at the spaced-out version (T81-2.5)

Q: What is a 5-Bar Box?
A: That is our line of medium duty boxes designed to be ordered in large volumes of standard sizes and stocked. It’s named for the five-by-five checker plate pattern that is an alternative to the common diamond tread.

Typically carried by FGI and a few select dealers, the 5-bar boxes are made of a lighter material and are only available in select sizes. To find out more about the brand and the boxes, click the link in the footer below.

Q: I don’t see exactly what I want. Do you have more custom options?
A: YES! We do a lot of customization, both small tweaks to existing products and totally unique custom solutions.
