Rectangular, Aluminum Tanks designed to be used behind the cab with ACE Cab Guards & Steel Cradle (ordered separately). From 3/16” thick checker plate standard (smooth option available).

Our line of HYDRAULIC TANKS is designed to work with Recesses that can be optionally added to most styles of Cab Guard. 

Tanks include suction & return fittings, vented cap, temp/sight gauge & stainless steel straps with rubber backing for mounting.

Our integrated Tank/Rack combos;

  • Conserve frame space for other uses (extended fuel tanks, storage boxes, pumps, APU, etc.)
  • Install easily on a steel cradle using the same U-bolts as the Headache Rack
  • Choose from Tank capacities of 30US, 50US & 70US gallons with custom sizes available

Check out our NEW HYD50M series of Low-Profile Hydraulic Tanks that reduce depth from 24” to 17” by increasing height to fill a recess for a 70 gallon tank.

FAQ

Q: If I order a Cab Guard with a Hydraulic Tank Recess, does the Hydraulic Tank come automatically?
A: No. The recesses can fit more than one tank size and you need to order the Tank and Cradle both separately.

If you use one of our Cab Guard Builders to custom configure a Cabinet Rack or Headache Rack you will see it add the Tank and Cradle as an accessory. So a rack with a hydraulic tank will likely be four line items: A rack, a mount kit, a tank and a cradle.

Q: Do the straps and all mounting hardware come with the tank?
A: The straps are included with the tank with the steel cradle (HYDCRDL) which needs to be ordered separately. 

If you’re mounting the tank to a deck, you may need to drill and/or modify the mounting surface.

Q: Do I have to have a rack to use this hydraulic tank?
A: No, they can be used by themselves although they were designed to mount along with a rack.

If you choose to use one of these tanks by themselves you’ll need the HYDCRDL Steel Cradle for it or a deck or underneath support structure as well as a rack–style U-bolt mount kit, or some other means of attaching the cradle to the frame of the truck.

Q: I don’t see exactly what I want. Do you have more custom options?
A: YES! We do a lot of customization, both small tweaks to existing products and totally unique custom solutions.
